REET stands for Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers. It is a state-level examination conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan (BSER). The exam is held for the selection of eligible candidates for the post of teachers in government schools of Rajasthan. The examination is conducted in two tiers - Tier I and Tier II. Tier I is conducted for the selection of candidates for the post of teachers in Classes I to V, while Tier II is conducted for the selection of candidates for the post of teachers in Classes VI to VIII.
The examination comprises of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) based on the following subjects - Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I (compulsory), Language II (compulsory), Mathematics, Environmental Studies, Social Science/Social Studies. The duration of the examination is 2 hours 30 minutes for Tier I and 2 hours for Tier II. Candidates must score a minimum of 60% marks in order to qualify for the examination.

Syllabus for REET 2023
The REET exam syllabus is divided into two parts, Part A and Part B. Part A covers topics like Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I and II, Environmental Studies, Mathematics, and General Studies. Part B covers topics like Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies.
