Pre-Selection Process Fill out the NDA Application Form 2025 on or before the last date.
Stage 1: Written Exam
  • Mathematics: 300 Marks
  • General Ability Test-900 marks
Stage 2: SSB Interview
  • Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR) and Picture Perception Description Test (PP&DT) tests.
  • Interview, Group Testing Officer Tasks, Psychology Tests and the Conference
Stage 3: Medical Examination All the candidates declared successful in the SSB Interview will be shortlisted for the medical checkup.
Stage 4: Final Merit The final selection list will be prepared based on their performance in all three selection rounds.

NDA Selection Process 2025 for Written Exam

The first stage of the NDA Selection Process 2025 is the written exam. The subjects of the written exam, time duration, and the maximum marks assigned to each subject are prescribed in the official NDA 2025 notification. Check the NDA Exam Pattern 2025 for the written exam shared below.
  • The written exam comprises objective-type questions only.
  • The NDA written exam consists of two subjects, i.e. Mathematics and General Ability Test.
  • The medium of the question paper shall be English and Hindi.

NDA Selection Process 2025 for SSB Interview

The second stage of the NDA Selection Process 2025 will be the SSB Intelligence and Personality Test. The SSB process consists of a two-stage NDA Selection process in 2025, i.e. Stage I and Stage II. Only those candidates who clear stage I will be allowed to appear for stage II. The SSB interview carries a total of 900 marks.

  • Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR) tests
  • Picture Perception  Description Test (PP&DT).
Stage II
  • Interview, Group Testing Officer Tasks,
  • Psychology Tests and the Conference. These tests will be conducted over four days.
Important Points to Remember:
  • The candidate’s personality will be assessed by three different assessors viz: the Interviewing Officer (IO), the Group Testing Officer (GTO) and the Psychologist. There are no separate weightages for each test.
  • The various IO, GTO and Psych tests are designed to assess the presence/absence of Officer Like Qualities and their trainability in an aspirant. Accordingly, candidates are Recommended or Not Recommended at the SSB.

NDA Selection Process 2025 Document Verification

The next NDA Selection Process 2025 stage will be the document verification round. Candidates declared qualified in stage II will be required to submit original documents/certificates along with photocopies for the same. The list of documents needed for verification is as follows.
  • Original Matriculation pass certificate or equivalent in support of date of birth
  • Original 10+2 pass certificate or equivalent in support of educational qualification
  • Caste Certificate
  • Proof of Identity

NDA Selection Process 2025 for Medical Examination

The next NDA Selection Process 2025 stage will be the medical examination round. The Medical Examination Board for selection of officers and pre-commissioning training academies are convened at designated Armed Forces Medical Services. Hospitals near Service Selection Boards (SSB). These Medical Boards are called ‘Special Medical Boards’ (SMB). Those who clear the SSB interview are referred to the Armed Forces Medical Services Hospital with verification of documents. Staff Surgeon of the Hospital will identify and guide the candidate to submit the relevant details of the AFMSF2 and organise investigations and examinations by Medical, Surgical, Eye, ENT, and Dental specialists. Female candidates are examined by a Gynaecology Specialist also. After examination by Specialists, the candidate will be required to appear before the Medical Board. After the review is done, the Medical Board will declare the fitness of the candidate.

NDA Final Merit List 2025

After completing the NDA Selection Process 2025 successfully, the final NDA merit list will be prepared based on the total marks obtained in the written exam and SSB Interview. The final allocation will be done on the basis of the candidate’s rank and preference in the service. Those whose names/roll numbers are found in the NDA final merit list will be considered for the provisional allotments.

NDA Selection Process 2025 Disqualification Rules

There are specific rules to be considered by the candidates to avoid disqualification from the further NDA Selection Process 2025 are shared below.
  • Aspirants who were admitted to a previous course at the National Defence Academy or to the 10 + 2 Cadet Entry Scheme of the Indian Naval Academy but were removed there owing to the lack of officer-like qualities or on disciplinary grounds will not get admission to the Academy.
  • However, aspirants who were previously withdrawn from the National Defence Academy or Indian Naval Academy on medical grounds or left the above Academy voluntarily are eligible for admission to the Academy provided they fulfil the medical and other required conditions.

NDA Selection Process in Hindi को दो चरणों में विभाजित किया गया है, यानी लिखित परीक्षा और एसएसबी साक्षात्कार। एनडीए लिखित परीक्षा में केवल वस्तुनिष्ठ प्रकार के प्रश्न शामिल होते हैं। एनडीए लिखित परीक्षा में दो विषय शामिल होते हैं यानी गणित और सामान्य योग्यता परीक्षण। प्रश्न पत्र का माध्यम अंग्रेजी और हिंदी होगा। लिखित परीक्षा का अधिकतम अंक 900 है। एसएसबी साक्षात्कार प्रक्रिया में 2025 में दो चरण की एनडीए चयन प्रक्रिया शामिल है यानी चरण I और चरण II। एसएसबी साक्षात्कार कुल 900 अंकों का होता है।
