
NEET PG Counselling 2025: NEET PG Counselling 2025 is the pathway for medical graduates to get admission into postgraduate (PG) medical courses like MD (Doctor of Medicine), MS (Master of Surgery), and PG Diploma programs across India. The counseling process is managed by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) on behalf of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India.
NEET PG 2025 Round 3 counselling revised dates are expected to be announced soon. As per the original schedule, round-3 registration was set to begin on 26 December 2025. However, it is unlikely to start on the scheduled date as the round-2 reporting deadline was extended till 30 December 2025 (1:00 PM). Earlier, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) had also extended the seat resignation deadline for both round-1 and round-2 till 29 December 2025.
The NEET PG 2025 round-2 counselling result was declared on 16 December 2025. Seat allotment was carried out based on candidates’ choices, NEET PG rank, reservation criteria, and seat availability. In total, 35,023 candidates were allotted seats in round-2 counselling.

NEET PG 2025 Counselling Process is a multistage process for the candidates.
Step 1: Registration and Fee Payment
Register on the official MCC website using NEET PG credentials.
Pay the registration fee and security deposit.
Step 2: Choice Filling and Locking
Fill preferred courses and colleges in order of priority.
Review and lock choices before the deadline.
System auto-locks choices if not locked manually.
Step 3: Seat Allotment
Seat allotment result is released online.
Allotment is based on NEET PG AIR, choices filled, seat availability, and reservation rules.
Step 4: Reporting to Allotted College
Download the allotment letter and report to the allotted college.
Carry original documents and complete admission formalities.
Non-reporting leads to seat cancellation and possible deposit forfeiture.
