Securing a rank in CA Intermediate requires consistent preparation, effective time management and the ability to keep up with classes alongside revision. For Ayush Rathore from Jhansi, the September 2026 result brought a moment he had previously imagined while watching a PW rank-holder session.
Ayush secured AIR 37 with 447 marks in CA Intermediate. His preparation involved following recorded classes at an accelerated speed, maintaining attendance and covering missed sessions at night. His mother's account also highlights the commitment she observed in his daily routine. His journey reflects how a structured approach to preparation, support from PW and encouragement from family can contribute to a student's progress.
Ayush's mother described a noticeable change in his attitude towards studies over the years. According to her, he had been an average student earlier, but his approach became more focused as he progressed academically.
Reflecting on his earlier academic performance, she said:
"Sir aisa nahi hai ki ye bahut all-rounder wahan ho ya bahut zyada matlab brilliant na ho; shuru se padhne mein sir ekdum average tha, lekin 10th mein sir maine iski life mein bahut change dekhe hain aur isne kis tareeke se apne aap ko badla hai, sir."
Her observations show how Ayush developed a more focused approach over time. His progress was reflected not only in his academic result but also in the way he managed his study commitments alongside family events.
Ayush continued his CA preparation with PW after Foundation. He followed a hybrid approach to classes, beginning recorded lectures around 30 minutes after the scheduled start and watching them at approximately 1.5× speed. This allowed him to use recorded learning while retaining a defined routine.
Explaining his approach, Ayush said:
"Sir main matlab hybrid keh deejiye jaise main aadha ghanta late shuru karta tha class to 1.5 pe chalti thi lagbhag saari okay."
He also described how he approached doubts during his preparation:
"Daalta tha main Ankit Sir ne aur Jasmeet Sir ne liye bhi hai kai baar doubt Sunil Sir ne bhi liye hain."
His preparation was not limited to attending classes. His mother recalled that he would return to class promptly after meals or time with the family, and cover any missed session later at night.
Ayush's result was a significant moment after an earlier disappointment. He shared that he had wanted to be part of a PW celebration after his Foundation result but had missed the opportunity by one mark. When he secured AIR 37 in CA Intermediate, he found himself participating in the kind of session he had once watched as a student.
Recalling that moment, he said:
"Wahi sir matlab foundation mein bhi mera sir bahut aane ka mann tha main ek number se reh gaya tha nahi to main us celebration ka part ban jaata."
He also described his reaction when he first checked his rank:
"Phir uske baad main do baar kooda phir maine dekha ek baar merit list check karte hain number dekh ke to usmein 37 thi mere ko yakeen nahi hua maine phir dobara laptop se log in kiya maine kaha dobara dekhte hain kya dikkat hai."
Ayush secured 447 marks in CA Intermediate September 2026, with 83 in Accounting, 72 in Corporate and Other Laws, 70 in Taxation, 82 in Cost and Management Accounting, 69 in Auditing and Ethics, and 71 in Financial Management and Strategic Management. His balanced performance across all six subjects contributed to his overall result and AIR 37.
His reaction reflects how meaningful the result was to him. The rank also gave him an opportunity to look back at the goal he had carried forward since Foundation and recognise the progress made through continued preparation.
Ayush Rathore's CA Intermediate result highlights the role of consistent effort, a manageable study routine and support from family. His experience with PW classes and doubt-solving support formed part of his preparation, while his decision to cover missed lectures and maintain continuity helped him stay connected with his studies. For CA aspirants, his story is a reminder that progress can come from building steady habits and continuing to work towards a goal, even after an earlier disappointment.
