ICAI will activate the CA Final May 2026 Result link on the official result portal after the declaration of results. Candidates can access their scorecards using their Registration Number and Roll Number.

Passing Criteria for CA Final Exams

To pass the CA Final exams in 2026, candidates must achieve at least the minimum required marks. This includes scoring a total of 50% or higher across all subjects, with at least 40% in each subject. The exact passing marks for each subject are detailed in the table below.

CA Final Merit List May 2026

ICAI is expected to release the CA Final May 2026 merit list after the declaration of results. Candidates will be able to check the merit list through the official ICAI portal once it becomes available.

CA Final Results 2026 Paper Verification Process

After checking the CA final results 2026, some students may be unsatisfied with their CA results marks and they can opt for verification of marks. As per guidelines set by the ICAI, candidates who want their answer sheets to be verified and reevaluated should apply for verification of marks within one month of the declaration of results. It can be done both offline and online. It usually takes 6-8 weeks for the result verification and if any changes in marks happen after verification, ICAI will send a revised result to the registered address of the candidate. Candidates can request verification of marks in the following categories:

• To check the compilation of numbers in the answer book
• To verify if any answer or a part of is unchecked or not evaluated
• Ensure that total mark calculations are correct
• Confirm that the marks obtained against each question and the marks mentioned on the summary page are not different

Post-Result Steps

• Candidates should follow the latest ICAI guidelines regarding mark sheets, membership registration, and post-qualification formalities.

• Eligible candidates can apply for ICAI membership to practice as Chartered Accountants.
