Preparing for the CA Foundation exam requires students to stay focused while managing the pressure of multiple subjects. For CA Foundation AIR 12 Abhinav Garg, the journey involved staying serious about his studies, attending classes and making use of the learning support available through PW.
Abhinav, from Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh, secured All India Rank 12 in the CA Foundation January 2026 examination. His result included 89 marks in Accounts, 68 in Law, 92 in Quantitative Aptitude and 98 in Economics.
Abhinav's interview shows that he maintained a serious approach towards his studies while also making time for activities he enjoyed. His mother also remained around him during his classes and supported his study routine.
When asked about his nature as a student, his mother described him as serious about studies while also enjoying himself. She recalled:
“Studious bachcha hai. Shuru se ekdum serious type hai ki masti bhi utni karta hai jitni khatarnak padhai karta hai.”
Abhinav also shared that he enjoys cricket. This reflects the balance in his routine, where studies remained a serious priority while he continued to make time for his interests.
Abhinav remained serious and focused during his classes. His mother stayed nearby while he studied and made sure he was not disturbed during his preparation.
“Mereko phone pe bhi baat nahi karne deta tha kisi se bhi ki main disturb ho jaunga. Uske saath-saath meri bhi poori mehnat hui hai.”
This shows that maintaining a focused study environment was an important part of his preparation experience. His mother's support also became part of the effort behind his CA Foundation journey.
Along with his own focus, Abhinav spoke positively about his experience with the PW platform and classes. He specifically mentioned the smooth experience of using the platform and how the teachers' engaging approach helped reduce the pressure of attending multiple classes.
“App ka experience to bahut achha tha kyunki wo jo platform tha bilkul smooth platform tha. Koi dikkat nahi aati thi class vagairah dekhne mein.”
He also explained how the teachers' interaction and humour made the classes feel less stressful:
“Aur sir jo aap thodi masti karte rehte beech mein to pressure nahi aata tha padhai ka ki matlab teen class ho gayi chauthi bhi dekhni hai to matlab man nahi kar raha hai pressure aa raha hai to sir wo achha rehta tha bahut badhiya sir.”
For Abhinav, the classroom experience was therefore not limited to completing lessons. The engaging teaching style helped make long study sessions feel more manageable.
Abhinav also highlighted a marathon session conducted by PW faculty Love Sir. According to him, the session held shortly before the examination was particularly useful.
“Wo jo bilkul ek ghante pehle jo li thi wo bahut, usmein se do teen sawaal to usmein se aa gaye the sir direct aur jo ek din pehle li thi wo bahut achhi marathon li thi.”
His comments indicate that revision-oriented classes formed a useful part of his learning experience. He remembered the marathon conducted a day before the exam and its relevance to questions he encountered.
Abhinav's performance across the four subjects resulted in AIR 12 in the CA Foundation January 2026 examination.
