For Divya Thakur, academic excellence had been a consistent part of her journey even before CA Foundation. She scored 98.8% in Class 12, regularly topped at school, and was drawn towards Commerce, with both her parents being Chartered Accountants. Alongside academics, she also pursued activities such as dancing, painting and debating.
Her CA Foundation Result added another achievement to that journey. In the January 2026 attempt, Divya secured AIR 13 with 346 marks out of 400, including 97 in Economics, 87 in Accounting, 74 in Business Law and 88 in Quantitative Aptitude.
Divya entered her CA Foundation preparation with a strong academic background, but the size of the syllabus still made consistency important. Her parents had closely observed her efforts throughout the preparation and recognised the role of sustained hard work behind her result.
Her Mother shared:
โShe is always into studies. In CBSE Class 12, she got 98.8%, and she has no mobile addiction.โ
He also highlighted that Divya remained focused on her studies while continuing to pursue extracurricular interests, particularly dancing and painting. This balance had been part of her personality from school, where she was also involved in debating and other activities.
Rather than portraying her success as the result of a single exam-season effort, her family described a longer pattern of discipline and academic consistency.
As the CA Foundation Syllabus progressed, Divya found that staying consistent and persistent was one of the biggest challenges. She credited her classes at CA Wallah with helping her maintain that momentum even when the preparation became exhausting.
She explained:
โThe CA Wallah Classes helped me maintain consistency and persistence. The syllabus is huge, and it was obviously sometimes exhausting, but the kind of way you all teach always inspired me to persevere.โ
For Divya, the classes were therefore not just about covering the syllabus. The way the subjects were taught helped her continue with the preparation during demanding phases and maintain the persistence required to see the journey through.
Divya was optimistic about performing well, but an All India Rank was still a pleasant surprise for her. Her marks reflected a strong performance across all four subjects, with Economics emerging as her highest-scoring subject at 97 marks.
When asked whether she had expected a rank, she described herself as optimistic about performing well, while calling the AIR 13 result a โpleasant surprise.โ
Her achievement also came with strong support from her parents, who had seen her work hard throughout the preparation. Divya herself acknowledged their contribution:
โThey are obviously happy because they have seen me work hard throughout, and I cannot imagine I could have performed so well without their constant support and guidance.โ
The result brought together her academic consistency, persistence during preparation, and the support system around her, culminating in 346 marks and AIR 13 in CA Foundation January 2026.
Divya's story is not limited to the rank she secured. Her journey combines a strong academic foundation with consistency, persistence, and the ability to stay committed through a demanding syllabus. Her experience also highlights how the right learning environment can help students sustain their preparation when the workload becomes exhausting.
Her message captures the mindset behind her journey:
โA dream is not something that you see while you are sleeping. It is something that does not let you sleep.โ
For CA Foundation aspirants, Divya's journey offers a practical reminder that strong results are built over time through disciplined preparation, persistence and continued effort rather than a last-minute push.
