Securing a top rank in CA Intermediate requires more than completing classes; you also need to revise regularly, manage backlogs and practise questions before the examination. Nitin Gupta faced a break in his study routine due to a family wedding and had to catch up on missed lectures while keeping up with his preparation.
Nitin's preparation with Physics Wallah included recorded classes, repeated revision of Law and consistent study of Audit, along with mock tests to practise for the examination. These efforts helped Nitin secure All India Rank 31 in the CA Intermediate September 2026 examination, scoring 94 marks in Costing.
Nitin faced difficulties keeping up with his CA Intermediate classes and revision after a family wedding interrupted his study routine. He had to catch up on missed lectures while continuing with his remaining classes.
“Beech mein main kahin chala gaya tha, shaadi vagairah aa gayi thi, toh uski wajah se backlog ho gaya.”
Audit was another concern because Nitin felt it could become a weak subject if he did not study it regularly. He made a conscious effort to avoid long gaps in preparation.
“Audit mujhe lag raha tha ki weak ho sakta hai mera. Isliye Audit toh maine lagataar hi padha hai. Audit mein maine gap hi nahi diya.”
His experience highlights two challenges he faced: managing a lecture backlog and keeping up with a subject he considered potentially weak.
Nitin followed a flexible class schedule during his CA Intermediate preparation with Physics Wallah. He usually joined classes around an hour after the scheduled time and watched the recordings at 1.5x speed. This helped him keep up with most classes on the same day.
“Jo bhi class ki timing hoti thi, usse ek ghante baad main join kar leta tha aur recorded 1.5x mein normally dekh leta tha.”
For Law, Nitin completed two revisions and attempted two mock tests to strengthen his understanding and recall. Repeated revision helped him become more comfortable with the subject before the examination.
“Law ki maine do revision toh kar hi li. Uske baad maine do mock test bhi lagaye.”
Nitin also used gaps between classes to revise topics rather than waiting until the entire syllabus was complete. During a gap between Direct Tax and Indirect Tax classes, he revised Direct Tax on his teacher’s advice.
“DT khatam hone ke baad IDT ki class se pehle jo gap mila tha, usmein Jasmeet sir ke kehne par maine DT revise kar liya tha.”
For additional revision, CA Intermediate notes can help revisit subject concepts alongside class recordings and mock test practice. Nitin’s approach combined regular classes, timely revision and testing rather than leaving all revision until the end.
Nitin continued his learning journey with Physics Wallah from CA Foundation to CA Intermediate. He found the teaching approach engaging and appreciated the energy of the faculty during classes.
“Mujhe toh bahut maza aaya. Classes kabhi bhi boring nahi lagi.”
Nitin also described his overall online learning experience with Physics Wallah positively, highlighting how the classes kept him interested throughout his preparation.
“Meri full online journey top-notch rahi. Ekdum badhiya experience raha.”
Nitin continued his CA preparation with Physics Wallah from Foundation to Intermediate, making the CA Intermediate online batches a relevant option for those looking to continue their preparation through online classes.
Nitin emphasised that consistency from the beginning is essential for managing the CA syllabus. He advised against postponing preparation until the final weeks, when completing the syllabus and revising effectively can become difficult.
“Consistency jo rakhega shuru se, wohi aage niklega.”
He also warned against relying on last-minute preparation, stressing that delaying the work can make it difficult to recover before the examination.
“Jo last mein sochega ki main last mein kar lunga saara, woh bilkul nahi kar payega.”
His advice reflects the approach he followed during CA Intermediate: keeping up with classes, revising subjects regularly and addressing backlogs instead of letting them accumulate.
Nitin Gupta’s achievement of CA Intermediate AIR 31 in September 2026 reflects his consistent efforts and positive learning experience with Physics Wallah. From attending recorded classes to revising Law, studying Audit regularly and practising through mock tests, he remained focused on his preparation. His journey highlights how consistency, timely revision and the right learning support can help you work towards your CA goals with greater confidence.
