CA Inter AIR 6 Yati Aggarwal: May 2026 Success Story & Strategy with PW

The CA Inter May 2026 results brought an impressive achievement for Yati Aggarwal, who secured All India Rank 6 (AIR 6) in the examination. Yati had previously studied with PW during her CA Foundation preparation and continued her journey with PW for CA Intermediate.

During her topper interview, Yati shared her marks across subjects. She scored 87 in Accounts, 72 in Law, 82 in Taxation, 87 in Costing, 82 in Audit and 84 in FM-SM. Her performance reflects consistent preparation across both practical and theory-oriented subjects.

When asked whether she expected a single-digit rank, Yati said:

“Not that much. Some of the papers went okay, so like, I was expecting a rank, but I was not expecting a single-digit rank.”

Despite not expecting a single-digit rank, her preparation ultimately helped her secure CA Inter AIR 6 in May 2026.

Yati Aggarwal's CA Inter Preparation Journey

Yati had already studied with PW during her CA Foundation preparation. She continued with PW for CA Intermediate and studied all subjects except Audit through the platform.

Her preparation journey also involved balancing her B.Com examinations, Diwali and other commitments. At one point, she had accumulated a significant lecture backlog.

She explained:

“Normally, like everyone does study, everyone watches lectures, but that one consistency—like my backlog had also happened. I had around 60–70 lectures of backlog in between because of B.Com exams, then Diwali and everything came together.”

Instead of allowing the backlog to affect her preparation, Yati worked consistently to complete it.

“So even after that backlog, I covered up everything.”

Her ability to recover from a substantial backlog while maintaining her preparation was one of the notable aspects of her CA Inter journey.

How Yati Cleared Her 60–70 Lecture Backlog

Yati followed an intensive study routine to clear her pending lectures. She revealed that she studied for around 10–12 hours every day, combining lectures, notes and question practice.

She said:

“I was doing 10–12 hours every day, lectures, notes and lectures.”

However, her strategy was not simply to watch lectures and move on. She made sure that the learning was immediately followed by practice and note-making.

She explained:

“It was not that I was just watching lectures and finishing them. Along with the lectures, for Law, notes; for Audit, notes, like theory subjects, for GST, notes, making all the notes.”

For practical subjects such as Accounts, she solved the questions her teachers provided simultaneously.

“And then in Accounts and all, like the practice questions that you used to give, I used to solve them along with it after the lecture.”

This approach prevented her backlog from becoming an even bigger problem later in the preparation cycle.

Yati's Revision and Mock Test Strategy

Unlike some rankers who complete several rounds of revision and dozens of mock tests, Yati followed a more focused approach.

She completed two revisions and, for some subjects, a maximum of three revisions.

“I did revisions two times or maximum three times for some subjects.”

For mock tests, she followed a schedule designed to replicate the actual examination pattern.

She explained:

“As such, proper mock tests, I did one. Like, I gave myself one-and-a-half days of leave, then the paper, just like the exam schedule.”

During this period, she wrote papers under examination-like conditions.

She also solved MTPs and RTPs on the same day.

“Then at that time, I wrote the papers one by one, and like MTP, RTP, I solved those also on the same day.”

Her strategy shows that the effectiveness of preparation does not necessarily depend only on the number of revision rounds. Consistent lecture completion, immediate practice, note-making and exam-oriented testing can also play a significant role.

Yati's FM-SM and Costing Revision Strategy

Yati followed subject-specific revision plans based on the demands of each subject.

For SM, she completed one full reading followed by one revision.

“In SM, I did fewer revisions, like one full reading and then only one revision.”

For FM, she completed two revisions before the final 1.5-day revision period.

“And in FM, two, and the 1.5-day one was the third revision.”

This shows that she adapted her revision strategy according to her individual requirements rather than following the same number of revisions for every subject.

How PW Supported Yati Aggarwal's CA Inter Preparation

PW played an important role in Yati's CA Inter May 2026 preparation, especially through lectures, notes, homework and practice resources. She studied all CA Inter subjects except Audit with PW, making the platform a significant part of her preparation.

Yati specifically highlighted the value of completing questions alongside the lectures rather than postponing practice until the end.

“It was not that I was just watching lectures and finishing them.”

She consistently completed the homework and practice questions given during her PW classes.

“But along with it, doing that homework. Like every sum, one by one, I have done from your book. So that helped a lot.”

This lecture-plus-practice approach helped her maintain continuity between learning concepts and applying them to questions.

Yati also credited the quality and accessibility of online learning for making her preparation more manageable. She had initially been confused between offline and online classes during Foundation but eventually developed confidence in online learning.

She said:

“My lectures are very understandable. Like, for me, offline and online, in Foundation I was confused, but then I was like, I live in Bhandup and in Borivali, and whatever classes are there, travelling for one hour daily in the local would be hectic.”

After exploring online classes, she found them effective.

“Then I watched online, and I understood that actually all the teachers teach very well.”

This experience helped her develop trust in PW from Foundation and continue with the platform for CA Intermediate.

From CA Foundation Preparation to CA Inter AIR 6

Yati's connection with PW began during CA Foundation, where she developed trust in the platform and its teachers. She later continued her preparation for CA Intermediate.

She explained:

“So from Foundation itself, that trust was built. Then I did Intermediate also, so now it is even more fun.”

Her experience with online learning also helped her avoid the time and effort involved in daily commuting to offline classes.

She said:

“For me, offline and online, I was confused in Foundation, but then I watched online and understood that actually all the teachers teach very well.”

This combination of accessible online learning, consistent practice and disciplined preparation supported her journey to CA Inter May 2026 AIR 6.

Yati Aggarwal's CA Inter May 2026 AIR 6 success story highlights the importance of managing the preparation process even when challenges arise. Despite a 60–70 lecture backlog, she continued studying for 10–12 hours a day, completed her lectures, made notes, solved homework and practised questions alongside her classes.

Her preparation also shows the value of subject-wise revision. She focused on repeated revision for theory-based subjects, practised questions for practical subjects and used MTPs, RTPs and exam-like testing to evaluate her preparation.

Having used PW since CA Foundation, Yati continued with PW for CA Intermediate and found online learning convenient and effective. Her journey offers a practical lesson for CA aspirants: clear pending work systematically, combine learning with practice, revise consistently and adapt your preparation according to the subject.
