For CA Inter aspirants, the journey towards a rank involves more than completing classes. Consistent revision, regular practice and disciplined self-study became important parts of Vedant Waghole's preparation, along with the PW learning resources he used.
His CA journey had already begun with Foundation, where he scored 329 marks but missed a rank by a few marks. For CA Inter, Vedant continued working towards his target by completing his syllabus, revising multiple times and practising questions with the help of PW classes, notes, MTS and other learning resources. His consistent preparation helped him secure AIR 21 in CA Inter May 2026.
Vedant's preparation was driven by a clear goal from the beginning. During the conversation about his preparation, he explained how he maintained consistency according to the target he had set.
“Woh rakhna padta hai, woh target jaisa set kiya hai us hisaab se consistency rakhni padti hai.”
His CA journey had already begun with Foundation, where he scored around 329 marks. He recalled that he had missed a rank by a few marks at that stage. For CA Inter, however, he continued working towards his goal and ultimately secured AIR 21.
This target-oriented approach became an important part of his preparation as he worked through the long Inter journey.
Vedant followed a demanding daily routine during his CA Inter preparation. According to his mother, he would start studying in the morning and continue through most of the day, taking breaks mainly for meals. His routine generally began around 5 AM and continued until 10 PM.
He also used recorded classes as part of his preparation. Vedant watched classes at 2x speed, while frequently pausing and playing the lectures as needed. After completing his classes for the day, he followed them with revision and homework.
For theory subjects such as Law and Audit, he followed a separate revision approach. He watched the lectures, referred to the module and book, and then prepared his own summary notes.
“Phir unko apne summary notes bana liye the. Matlab notes aur summary notes bhi khud ke bana liye the maine.”
This allowed him to create personal revision material that he could use again during subsequent revisions.
Along with self-study, Vedant used PW's learning resources as part of his preparation. He completed his classes, used the notes provided during classes and attempted PW's MTS for practice. He also used YouTube sessions, including Income Tax practice sessions.
His approach was not limited to watching lectures. He combined the classes with question practice and revision.
“Jo notes aapne diye the, wo padhe aur phir usi time pe kuch notes maine khud ke bhi bana liye the. Phir wahi next revision mein woh use kiye...”
He also solved questions from the PDFs on his own and checked whether his answers were correct. He combined classes, notes, question practice, tests and self-study as part of his preparation.
Revision was an important part of Vedant's preparation. He completed almost the entire syllabus by February, while Income Tax classes were still going on. He completed Accounts through recorded classes in December and started revising it from January. As he finished other subjects, he started revising them as well.
After completing the full syllabus, Vedant attempted two full-syllabus tests and also took MTS. He completed around four to five revisions of most subjects, while he revised Audit a few more times.
For his first revision, he studied the modules and class notes and also made his own notes. In later revisions, he used these notes and focused on questions marked by the faculty and those he had identified as difficult.
By starting revision with his classes, Vedant was able to revise the subjects multiple times before the exam.
Vedant's preparation translated into a strong performance in CA Inter May 2026. He secured AIR 21, with his subject-wise marks discussed during the result interaction as follows:
