Conjugate Complex Numbers
Complex number z = x + iy and = x − iy are called complex conjugates of each other. They are reflection of each other w.r.t. x axis.
If z = x + iy, then x is called the real part and y is the imaginary part.
∴ If z = x + iy and = x −iy.
then = x = Re(z) = Re
and
= Im(z)
A complex number can also be represented as (x, y) and can be added and subtracted coordinate wise.
Also for any two complex numbers.
