Biospheres Reserves
conservation of plant and animal of Class 8
This concept was launched by MAB (Man and Biosphere) programme, in 1975 to deal with the conservation of ecosystem. It is a specified area in which multiple use of the land is permitted by dividing it in particular zones specified for the particular activity. The Panchmarhi Biosphere Reserve consists of one national park named Satpura and two wildlife sanctuaries named Bori and Panchmarhi.
