its headquarter is at Morges (Switzerland).
its main objective is the modification of the natural environment by human beings.
It conducts its meeting every third year.
This is the scientific advisor to WWF.

WWF (World Wild Life Fund):

It was established in 1961 at Gland, Switzerland.
WWF has membership of national organizations of 23 countries.
India is also a member of WWF.
WWF-India was established in 1969.

lBWL (Indian Board for Wild life):

It was established in 1952.
its main objectives are to sponsor the setting of national parks & to promote public interest in wild life.
Bombay Natural History Society (BNHS)
It was established in 1983.
It is a non govt. body for conservation of wild life.
