x = a cosθ, y = b sinθ (0 ≤ θ < 2π)

(where θ is a parameter and it is called eccentric angle)

Q is a corresponding point on the circumscribing circle for a point P on the ellipse and θ is angle of OQ from x axis in the anti-clockwise direction.
