Explicit Function
Functions of Class 11
Explicit Function
If the dependent variable say y is expressible explicably in term of the independent variable. The function y = f(x) is called an explicit function. Otherwise it is said to be an implicit function. For example y = cos3x + x3 is an explicit function where as
x3 + y3 - 3xy = 0 is an implicit function.
