The following are the important points to remember about CUET Exam Pattern:
  1. The CUET entrance exam in 2025 will happen in three sessions. The initial two slots will last for 120 minutes each, while the third slot for the CUET UG exam will have a duration of 180 minutes.
  2. CUET 2025 includes a language test, two domain-specific papers, and a general test, with four domain-specific subjects and optional language subjects.
  3. If none of the options is correct, a question is deemed wrong, or a question is omitted, all candidates attempting the dropped question will receive five CUET Total marks.
  4. A candidate can pick up to 3 languages from Sections IA and IB combined. One of the selected languages should be specific to a particular field.
  5. In Section II, candidates are allowed to choose a maximum of 6 subjects from a pool of 27 options.
  6. Section III encompasses the General Test.
  7. A candidate is allowed to take a maximum of 10 tests in the following ways (subject to updates):
    1. Choose a maximum of 2 languages from Section IA and IB combined, along with a maximum of 6 domain subjects from Section II, and the General Test from Section III.
    2. Opt for a maximum of 3 languages from Section IA and IB combined, along with a maximum of 5 domain subjects from Section II, and the General Test from Section III.
  8. Following the CUET paper pattern, for selecting languages (up to 3) from Sections IA and IB and a maximum of 6 subjects from Section II and the General Test under Section III, candidates must refer to the requirements of their intended university. CUET maximum marks per subject will be 200.
  9. Candidates need to achieve a minimum number of marks out of the CUET full marks to pass the examination.
  10. The total marks in CUET are 800.

  • Ensure a good night's sleep before the exam day to avoid any delays in waking up on time.
