CUET UG is a national-level entrance examination conducted by NTA for admission into undergraduate programs offered by central universities, state universities, deemed universities, and private universities across India.

  • You are currently in Class 12

  • You are a 12th pass-out (repeater)

  • You want admission to your preferred course and college through CUET scores

Documents Required for CUET UG 2026 Application

1. Passport Size Photograph

  • Recent, colored photo

  • Format: JPG / JPEG

  • Size: 10 KB – 200 KB

2. Signature

  • Sign on plain paper

  • Scan and convert to JPG/JPEG

  • Size: 10 KB – 50 KB

3. ID Proof

  • Aadhaar Card or any valid ID

  • Format: JPG/JPEG

  • Size: 10 KB – 200 KB

4. Disability Certificate (If Applicable)

  • For PwD candidates (UDID certificate)

  • Size: 50 KB – 300 KB

Tip: If you don’t know how to convert file formats or sizes, you can easily use Google tools by uploading the file and converting it to JPG/JPEG with the required size.

CUET UG 2026 Application Process Overview

Candidates must follow these simple steps to fill out the CUET UG 2026 Application Form:

  1. Visit the official NTA CUET website, cuet.nta.nic.in.

  2. Click on “CUET UG 2026”.

  3. Open the Public Notice - Inviting Online Application Form.

  4. Register using your email ID and mobile number..

  5. Fill personal, academic, and exam details.

  6. Upload the required documents.

  7. Select subjects and exam cities.

  8. Pay the application fee online.

  9. Submit and download the confirmation page.

Do not rush: It is better to apply after 10–15 days, once you are fully clear about subject combinations and target courses.

CUET UG 2026 Exam Pattern (Official)

Candidates must understand the CUET UG 2026 Exam Pattern to prepare accordingly for the examination:

  • Mode of Exam: Online (Computer-Based Test only)

  • Duration: 60 minutes per subject

  • Questions: 50 questions (all compulsory)

  • Marking Scheme:

    • +5 marks for correct answer

    • Negative marking for wrong answers

    • No marks deducted for unattempted questions

  • Total Marks: 250 per subject

Subject Selection Rules:

  • Minimum 3 subjects required

  • Maximum 5 subjects allowed

  • At least one language subject is mandatory (English/Hindi/other)

CUET UG 2026 Application Fee Structure

The category-wise application fee required for CUET UG 2026 is as follows:

General Category

  • ₹1000 for the first 3 subjects

  • ₹400 for each additional subject

OBC Category

  • ₹900 for the first 3 subjects

  • ₹375 per additional subject

Important Correction Window Rules

The application form correction window will be live from 2–4 February 2026, allowing candidates to modify their permitted details:

  • You cannot change:

    • Name

    • Date of Birth

    • Mobile number

    • Email ID

  • Minor academic or subject-related corrections may be allowed.

Make sure your name and DOB match exactly with:

  • Aadhaar Card

  • Class 10 marksheet
