CSEET 2026: October Exam Dates, Syllabus, Pattern & Eligibility

The Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) has been restructured from the June 2026 session. Under the revised structure, CSEET is conducted in centre-based mode and is held three times a year in February, June and October. The examination consists of four papers: Business Communication, Fundamentals of Accounting, Economic and Business Environment, and Business Laws and Management.

The CSEET October 2026 examination will be conducted on October 1, 3, 5 and 6, 2026. ICSI has also released the e-admit card for the October 2026 examination.

For candidates planning to appear in the next session, CSEET February 2027 registration is open until October 31, 2026. The February 2027 examination enrolment window without late fee will be from November 16 to December 15, 2026, followed by the late-fee window from December 16 to December 20, 2026.

CSEET October 2026 Exam Dates

The CSEET October 2026 examination will be conducted in the first week of October. Candidates should check their e-admit card for their examination centre and other instructions.

For the subjective papers, the examination timing is 2:30 PM to 5:45 PM. The OMR-based Business Laws and Management paper is scheduled from 2:30 PM to 4:45 PM. Candidates receive 15 minutes of question-paper reading time in all papers.

CSEET 2026 Exam Pattern

The CSEET exam pattern has been revised from the June 2026 session. The new examination consists of four papers carrying 100 marks each, making the total examination worth 400 marks.

The Business Laws and Management paper is divided into Business Laws and Business Management. Business Laws carries 60 marks, while Business Management carries 40 marks.

There is no negative marking for wrong answers in the OMR-based paper.
