Yes. Candidates whose Master's degree results are awaited can apply under the Result Awaited category.
However, they must complete their qualifying degree within the prescribed period after the declaration of the CSIR NET result and secure the required percentage of marks. Failing to meet these conditions may result in the cancellation of eligibility.
Yes. Candidates with a four-year bachelor's degree are also eligible to apply, subject to the conditions specified in the official notification.
A minimum of 75% marks or an equivalent grade is required. Candidates belonging to reserved categories are eligible for relaxation as per government norms.
Students currently studying in the final semester or final year of a four-year bachelor's programme can also apply provisionally.

Life Sciences: Candidates should possess an M.Sc. or equivalent qualification in Life Sciences or a related field. B.Tech Biotechnology candidates are also eligible, subject to the prescribed marks requirement.

Junior Research Fellowship (JRF): For Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), the upper age limit is 30 years, subject to the relaxations specified in the official notification.
Assistant Professor Eligibility: There is no upper age limit for candidates applying for Assistant Professor eligibility.
