BARC OCES 2025 Screening Options and Selection Interviews
The BARC OCES 2025 selection process includes several options for screening candidates. Here are the different ways candidates can be shortlisted for the Selection Interviews:- BARC OCES Written Examination : The online exam will be held in March 2025 for eight engineering disciplines and four science disciplines. Candidates can select their preferred examination centers during the registration process. The Online Examination score will be used to shortlist candidates for Selection Interviews. However, no travel allowance is provided for attending the online exam.
- GATE Score : Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria and have a valid GATE score from 2023, 2024, or 2025 will be considered for the Selection Interviews. This option applies to specific engineering disciplines and helps in shortlisting candidates directly for the interview stage.
- CGPA Score from CEBS/NISER : Students graduating with a Master’s degree in Physics, Chemistry, or Biosciences from CEBS/NISER (in 2023-2024/2024-2025) and having a CGPA of 7.5 or higher will be directly shortlisted for the Selection Interview, provided they meet all other eligibility requirements.
BARC OCES 2025 Selection Interviews and Final Selection
Selection Interviews will be held in Mumbai (for all disciplines except Geology) and Hyderabad (for Geology). Candidates will be reimbursed for their travel expenses for attending the interview. The interviews are expected to occur in May-June 2025, with candidates able to choose their interview slots in April 2025. Final selection for the BARC OCES/DGFS-2025 program will depend on performance in the Selection Interview, subject to medical fitness. The final list of selected candidates will be displayed in the last week of June 2025. Candidates who are selected must also undergo a pre-employment medical test, and stipends will be released once they are medically cleared.BARC OCES 2025 Document Verification
After the selection interview process, the candidates who are provisionally selected will undergo a medical test at the designated DAE unit hospital. The stipend will be provided only once the medical fitness is confirmed.- Medical Fitness Test: Conducted by the DAE doctor at the relevant hospital.
- Stipend Release: The stipend is released only after obtaining medical clearance.
