National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the CSIR NET June 2026 Notification along with the latest exam pattern for Chemical Science. Candidates preparing for the June 2026 session should understand the updated exam structure, marking scheme, and section-wise question distribution before starting preparation. The CSIR NET Chemical Science Exam is conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode for a total of 200 marks. The paper is divided into Part A, Part B, and Part C, covering General Aptitude, subject-based concepts, and analytical chemistry questions. The Chemical Science paper consists of 120 multiple-choice questions, out of which candidates are required to attempt a maximum of 75 questions within 3 hours. The examination also includes negative marking of 25% for incorrect answers in all three sections. Online registration is open from 27 May 2026 to 19 June 2026, and the examination is scheduled for 17th and 18th July 2026.
