CSIR NET December 2025 Application Correction Window: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the correction window for Joint CSIR UGC NET December 2025 exam today. As per the official notification, applicants who wish to make changes in their application form can do so between October 30 and November 1, 2025  (till 11:50 PM) on official website, csirnet.nta.nic.in.

As per official NTA notification, this is a one-time correction opportunity for candidates to rectify mistakes made while filling out their application forms. The CSIR NET December 2025 will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode across various examination centers in India.
Candidates must carefully review their forms, as final corrections will be updated only after payment of any additional applicable fee. No refund will be issued for excess payments.

CSIR NET December 2025 Overview

The CSIR NET exam is conducted to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Lectureship/Assistant Professorship in various science subjects. It is one of the most prestigious national-level eligibility tests managed by the NTA.

What Details Cannot Be Changed?

Candidates must note that certain details cannot be edited once submitted. These are treated as permanent identifiers and are locked for security and verification reasons.

What Details Can Be Changed?

Candidates can modify personal and academic information, as well as image uploads, during the correction window. All changes must be reviewed carefully before submission since the form will be locked afterward.

Can You Change Exam City Preferences?

Candidates can also modify their Examination City Selection (all four preferences).
The selection can be changed based on the Permanent or Present Address provided earlier during registration. This flexibility helps candidates choose a more convenient exam location.

What’s Next? 

After the correction window closes on November 1, 2025, the NTA will finalize all updated details. The CSIR NET December 2025 Admit Cards are expected to be released a few weeks before the exam.
Candidates should regularly visit the official website for updates regarding exam city intimation, admit card download, and exam schedule.
Once the admit cards are issued, no further changes will be allowed.
