CSIR NET June 2026 Chemical Sciences Topper Khushali Dubey’s Success Story

Khushali Dubey secured 99.20 percentile with 125 marks in CSIR NET June 2026 Chemical Sciences while pursuing her MSc in Chemistry at IIT Roorkee and managing an internship. With limited time for preparation, she relied on her existing IIT JAM preparation, revising her notes and adding the topics required for CSIR NET.

Having prepared for JAM and NET with PW, Khushali focused on the subjects she was confident in, particularly Physical and Inorganic Chemistry, while continuing to revise Organic Chemistry from her JAM preparation. She also followed repeated revision and PYQ practice to prepare for the exam.

How Physics Wallah Helped Khushali Dubey Prepare for CSIR NET

Khushali Dubey prepared for both IIT JAM and CSIR NET with Physics Wallah. She explained that the notes she used during her JAM preparation became the foundation for her NET preparation. She continued with those notes and added the extra content needed for the NET exam.

“Hello everyone, my name is Khushali Dubey and main abhi currently IIT Roorkee se MSc Chemistry kar rahi hoon. I am currently in second year aur maine JAM aur NET dono ki preparation Physics Wallah se hi ki hai.”

She further shared how the PW Notes helped her maintain one consistent source for preparation instead of switching between multiple books.

“Sir bahut help mili. Mera to aisa tha ki maine JAM ke hi notes prefer kiye the. Bas maine add-on ki thi cheezen. To poora JAM ke notes continue kiye hain.”

Khushali Dubey Focused More on Physical and Inorganic Chemistry

During the CSIR NET preparation period, Khushali was also doing an internship. Because of her limited time, she focused more on subjects in which she was already confident.

She explained:

“Waise mera internship bhi chal raha tha ye exam ke duration mein, to organic karna mere ko thoda time zyada lagega, aisa mere ko lag raha tha. Obviously maine JAM ke poora follow kiya hai JAM ka revise vagairah kiya tha Organic ka lekin maine mainly focus Physical aur Inorganic par rakha mostly practice Physical vagairah ki, kyunki usmein strong mera ho gaya tha; Physical aur Inorganic poori maine almost cover kar li thi.”

Her strategy was to build on her strengths instead of trying to give equal preparation time to every area. She revised Organic Chemistry from her JAM preparation while giving more practice time to Physical and Inorganic Chemistry.

Khushali Dubey Attempted Part A First in CSIR NET

Khushali also had a clear strategy for attempting the paper. Since Part A was one of her stronger areas, she decided to begin the exam from there.

She said:

“Sir, mera Part A strong tha to maine socha to ki start wahan se karungi. To Part A ke pehle phir Part C, and then at last Part B.”

Her decision worked well, as she scored the full 30 marks in Part A.

She said:

“Part A mein full hai 30.”

Starting with a stronger section helped her begin the paper confidently before moving to Part C and then Part B.

Khushali Dubey Used PYQs to Strengthen Her Preparation

Along with notes and revision, Khushali recommended solving previous-year questions after completing a topic. She also suggested exploring questions from exams such as JAM and other relevant chemistry examinations.

Her preparation advice was:

“Mere according to sabko matlab agar aapne JAM ki preparation ki hai to phir aap unhi notes ko continue ek baar notes banane chahiye proper saare har subject ka proper aapke notes hone chahiye phir baad mein jo exam aa raha hai uske according aap add on kar lo.”

She further suggested:

“Proper go through karo. Teen chaar baar revision karo. Phir PYQs lagao. Itna enough rehta hai.”

This approach kept her preparation focused on understanding, repeated revision, and question practice instead of continuously adding new study material.

Khushali Dubey Scored 125 Marks and Secured 99.20 Percentile

Khushali scored 125 marks in CSIR NET June 2026 Chemical Sciences and secured 99.20 percentile.

She scored the full 30 marks in Part A, while her preparation in Physical and Inorganic Chemistry also helped her perform well across the paper.

Khushali said:

“Part A mein full hai 30.”

Her result reflects the benefit of having a clear section-wise strategy and focusing on areas where she had built strong command.

Khushali Dubey’s Preparation Strategy Focused on Revision

Khushali believes that students preparing for JAM and NET should avoid collecting too much content. Instead, they should complete their notes properly and revise them multiple times.

She explained:

“Teen chaar baar revision karo. Phir PYQs lagao. Itna enough rehta hai. Iske bajay ki aap koi book padh rahe ho. Phir isi ek book se ye topic padha phir aap doosri book pe jump kar rahe ho.”

Her advice was to stay consistent with one source and use additional books only when there is enough time or a specific need.

She added:

“To isliye ek content pe stick raho jahan se bhi aap kar rahe ho aur notes ko apna proper prefer karna chahiye.”

Khushali Dubey Plans to Explore GATE and PSU Opportunities

After CSIR NET, Khushali is continuing her MSc journey at IIT Roorkee. She also plans to explore other opportunities, including GATE and PSU examinations.

Talking about her next plans, she said:

“Abhi to sir aur exams hai thoda GATE vagairah PSU vagairah try karungi.”

With her CSIR NET result already adding another achievement to her academic journey, she is now preparing to explore these opportunities alongside her MSc.

Khushali Dubey’s CSIR NET June 2026 journey shows how she used her existing JAM preparation while adapting it to the NET syllabus. Despite managing her MSc and internship, she focused on her stronger areas, revised her notes multiple times and practised PYQs. Her 99.20 percentile reflects the focused approach she followed during her preparation.
