IIT Indore Faculty Recruitment 2024: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Indore is inviting applications from Indian Nationals and Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs) for faculty positions at the level of Assistant Professor (Grade I & II) in its various academic departments and schools. The last date for online application is October 1, 2024. The completed application documents should be uploaded before 5:00 PM on October 1, 2024.

Step 1: Create a login : Go to the Faculty Recruitment Portal and choose the "SIGN UP" option in the user login menu. Enter a valid email address and password. Verify your account by clicking on the link sent to your email address. Step 2: Login to the site : Use your login email ID and password to login to the portal.
Step 3: Fill your application form online
: Follow the links in the Main menu to fill your application form.
Step 4: Email alerts
: Make sure that emails from "@iiti.ac.in" do not get caught in your spam/junk mail folder.
Step 5: Do not fill in Private Browsing Mode or Incognito Mode
: Fill the form in normal browsing mode.
Step 6: Submit your application
: Click on the "Submit" button to submit your application. You will receive an acknowledgement mail on your registered mail ID.
Step 7: Edit your application
: You can edit your online information until you submit your application.
Step 8: Upload documents
: Rename your documents as "yourname_some_unique_number" and upload them in PDF format (less than 1 MB).
Step 9: Upload photo
: Upload a latest coloured passport size photo of yourself with a white background in JPG/JPEG format (less than 1 MB).

IIT Indore Faculty Recruitment 2024 Important Points
- New Applications : Applicants who have not been considered earlier against the old advertisements need to apply afresh.
- Multiple Positions : If applying for more than one position, separate applications must be submitted for each position.
- Education : Degrees obtained by the candidate should have been awarded by a recognized University/Institute. All educational qualification certificates, including the date of Ph.D. defense, must be submitted/uploaded.
- Experience : All experience certificates mentioning designation, pay, and tenure must be duly signed and sealed by the employer.
- Foreign Passport Holders : Political and security clearance from Ministries of External Affairs and Home Affairs is necessary in every case.
- Shortlisting : The Institute reserves the right to call for interview only those candidates shortlisted based on their qualification, experience, research, publication records, and requirements of individual academic departments and schools.
- Original Certificates : Applicants called for interview are required to carry original certificates and self-attested xerox copies, if failure of which would lead to disqualification of the candidature.
- Travel Reimbursement : Applicants called for interview will be reimbursed to and fro air fare by economy class or II AC rail fare from the nearest city of their present residence in India by the shortest route.
- Interviews Abroad : Applicants from abroad will generally be interviewed through video conferencing and no reimbursement for such applicants will be made.
- No Correspondence : No correspondence whatsoever will be entertained from applicants regarding conduct and result of interview and reasons for not being called for interview or selection.
- Employed Applicants : Applicants who are employed in Government, Semi-Government, Autonomous Body or Institution should send their applications through proper channels. Else, they will be required to produce a No Objection Certificate from their employer at the time of interview.
