Professor (Screenplay Writing): A Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in cinema or Electronic and Digital Media with four to six years of professional experience in Film Direction. Alternatively, a Master’s degree in (Theatre / Literature / Film Studies) with 8-10 years of experience in direction or relevant fields.

Associate Professor Cinematography: A Graduate/Postgraduate Degree or Diploma or equivalent in Cinema specialising in Motion Picture Photography / Cinematography. OR A Master’s Degree in Theatre / Literature / Film Studies with 6 years of experience.

Associate Professor, sound recording design: A Degree or Postgraduate Degree or Diploma or equivalent in Audiography / Sound Recording and Design with 4 years of experience. OR A Master’s Degree in Theatre / Literature / Film Studies with 6 years of experience.

Associate Professor, Screen Acting: A Degree or Postgraduate Degree or Diploma with two years of experience in the applied subject. Or, a Graduate or Master’s Degree in the applied subject with 4-6 years of experience respectively in the same field.
SRFTI Assistant Professor Application Process 2025
RFTI Assistant Professor Recruitment 2025 is going to be done through online application as well as a hard copy. Steps to apply online are given below-

The applicants who are interested and fulfil the eligibility requirements should apply via the online Google application form only.

The application fee of ₹1200/- per position needs to be paid by SBI Collect (Application Fee for Recruitment).

The online form should have a payment receipt uploaded at the time of filling in the form.

The online application form will be accepted till 05.12.2025 (5 PM).

The application form submitted should be printed, and all the documents should be sent to Panchasayar, Kolkata - 700094.
