CUET 2026 Exam Day Instructions

CUET 2026 Exam Day Instructions have been prepared for the candidates' convenience. NTA has set some exam day instructions for the candidates so that it is convenient for them to appear for the exam. All the entry-related formalities are organised smoothly. 

  • Arrive Early: Try to reach the exam center two hours before the start time. Remember, the doors close 30 minutes before the exam starts. If you are late, you will not be allowed inside.

  • Stay Until the End: You are not allowed to leave the exam room or hall until the full time is over.

  • Check the Location: It is a good idea to visit your exam center a day before the test. This helps you find the way easily on the actual exam day.

  • Special Clothing: If you wear specific clothes for religious or cultural reasons, please arrive extra early. This gives staff enough time to check your clothes properly.

  • Security Checks: Staff will use a metal detector to check you for prohibited items. They will do this without touching you.

  • Prepare Your Admit Card: Fill in your details, paste your photo, and put your left-hand thumbprint on your CUET Admit Card 2026. Make sure the thumbprint is clear and not blurry.

  • Bring a Valid ID: Students must bring an original government ID with their photo. Examples include a PAN card, a Driving License, a Voter ID, a Passport, or an Aadhaar Card. Photocopies or photos of IDs on your phone will not be accepted.

  • Extra Time for PwD Students: Students with disabilities (PwD) get 20 extra minutes for every hour of the exam.

  • Requirements for PwBD Students: If you are in the PwD category, you must bring your official certificate. If the exam office provides a "Scribe" (someone to write for you), that person must also bring their ID, photo, and a signed paper about their education.

  • Give Back Your Admit Card: Before you leave the room, you must give your filled-in Admit Card to the teacher (Invigilator). If you forget, your exam might not be checked.

  • No Cheating: Do not try to cheat or use unfair tricks. All rooms have cameras and "jammers" that block phone signals.

  • Check Your Paper: When the exam starts, check the computer screen. Make sure the subject and language are the ones you chose. If they are wrong, tell the teacher immediately.

  • Read All Rules: Carefully read the specific instructions on your question paper and follow them exactly.

  • One Application Only: Do not send more than one application form. If you do, your exam will be cancelled, and you could be banned from future tests.
