Documents That Must Be Updated Before Applying

1. Aadhaar Card (Mandatory for All Candidates)

NTA has stressed that Aadhaar details must match official records. Ensure your Aadhaar includes:

  • Correct name (as per Class 10 certificate)

  • Correct date of birth

  • Latest, clear photograph

  • Updated residential address

  • Correct father’s name

Any mismatch can lead to rejection or complications during admission or later verification.

2. UDID Card / Disability Certificate (For PwD Candidates)

Candidates applying under the Persons with Disabilities category must ensure:

  • UDID Card/Disability Certificate is valid and updated

  • Renewals are completed (if applicable)

  • Details match those used in the application

This is crucial for availing exam-related accommodations and category benefits.

3. Category Certificate (EWS/SC/ST/OBC-NCL)

NTA has clearly stated that category certificates must be:

  • Updated and valid for 2026 admissions

  • Issued by a competent authority

  • Matching the candidate's personal details

Old or invalid certificates may lead to category rejection or loss of reservation benefits.
