The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the CUET UG 2026 Provisional Answer Key on its official website. Candidates who appeared for the examination can now download the answer key, response sheet, and question paper by logging in with their application number and password.

Visit the official CUET website, cuet.nta.nic.in.
Click on the "CUET UG 2026 Answer Key" link.
Enter your Application Number, Password, and Security Pin.
Log in to the candidate portal.
View and download the answer key and response sheet.
Save the PDF for future reference.
A specific fee is required for each question challenged. Candidates must ensure payment is made within the stipulated timeline for their challenge to be considered valid. This fee is non-refundable, irrespective of the challenge outcome.
Processing Fee: ₹200/- (Rupees Two Hundred only) per question challenged.
Nature of Fee: Non-refundable.
Payment Methods: Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.

Important Note: Challenges submitted without the successful payment of the processing fee will not be entertained. No other payment modes will be accepted.
Along with the provisional answer key, NTA has activated the objection window for candidates who wish to challenge any answer they believe is incorrect. The challenge facility is available online only from June 09 to June 11, 2026.
Candidates must submit valid supporting documents while raising objections and pay the prescribed fee of ₹200 per question. Challenges submitted without payment or after the deadline will not be considered.

Locate and click on the 'Challenge(s) regarding Answer Key' link.
Log in using your Application Number and Password, then enter the displayed captcha for submission.
To view your marked/recorded responses, click on “View Question Paper.” To view or challenge the answer keys, select the “Click to view/Challenge Answer Key” link.
Be aware that Question IDs in the Answer Key list may not be in sequential order. Match the Question Paper IDs with those in the Answer Key carefully.
The correct answer to a question is indicated by the ID next to the question under the ‘Correct Option(s)’ column.
If you wish to challenge this option, select one or more of the provided Option IDs by checking the respective box.
Supporting documents can be uploaded by clicking ‘Choose File.’ All documents must be compiled into a single PDF file.
After selecting your desired option, scroll down, click ‘Submit and review Claims’ to proceed.
A screen displaying all your challenged Option IDs will appear.
You can choose ‘Modify your Claims’ to make changes or ‘Final Submit’ to finalize.
Once claims are saved, a screen showing your challenges will be displayed.
Complete the payment process by clicking ‘Pay Now.’ Claims are finally saved only after successful payment of the requisite fee.
Select your preferred payment mode (Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking/UPI) and pay ₹200/- for each challenged question.
