CUO UG 1st Merit List 2026 Out: The Central University of Odisha officially released the first provisional selection list on July 23, 2026. The merit list contains the names and application numbers of candidates selected for various undergraduate and integrated programs. 

Candidates whose names have been mentioned in the 1st merit list can complete the admission. They can complete the admission and fee payment process from July 24, 2026 to July 25, 2026 (11:55 PM). The physical document verification will be done on August 6, 2026. CUO classes for the UG programs will begin on August 7, 2026.

Checking the merit list online requires a few simple steps:

1. Visit the official university website at cuo.ac.in.

2. Find the Admissions tab on the main page and click on UG Admissions 2026-27.

3. Click on the link for CUO UG 1st Merit List 2026.

4. Select the specific course or department PDF from the list.

5. Press Ctrl + F on a keyboard or use the search option on a phone to search by Name or CUET Application Number.

6. Download and save the PDF for future reference.

What’s Next After CUO UG Merit List 2026 1st List?

Candidates selected in the 1st merit list must follow these important steps:

• Online Fee Payment: Shortlisted candidates must log in to the CUO admission portal and pay the admission fee online between July 24 and July 25, 2026 (11:55 PM). Failing to pay the fee within this time frame will cancel the seat claim.

• Physical Document Verification: Candidates who complete online fee payment must attend the physical document verification on August 6, 2026, at the university campus in Koraput with original certificates.

• Subsequent Merit Lists: If seats remain vacant after the first round, the university will publish the 2nd Merit List on July 28, 2026, followed by a 3rd Merit List on July 31, 2026.

• Class Commencement: Regular classes for all admitted undergraduate students will begin on August 7, 2026.
