ICAR Registration Date 2026

The ICAR UG Registration 2026 commenced on 17 July 2026 through the official counselling portal. Only candidates who have qualified CUET (ICAR-UG) 2026 are eligible to participate in the counselling process. Candidates who fail to register before 23 July 2026 will not be considered for seat allotment.

The Indian Council of Agricultural Research has activated the online registration portal for UG admissions under the All India Quota. Admission will be offered to various Agriculture and Allied Science programmes offered by ICAR-approved Central Agricultural Universities, State Agricultural Universities, Deemed Universities, and other participating institutions based on CUET (ICAR-UG) 2026 scores. Candidates can complete their registration by visiting the official ICAR Counselling portal.

Method of Fee Payment for ICAR UG 2026

Candidates must pay the application fee only through the payment methods specified by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on the official CUET (UG) website. Using any payment method other than those prescribed by NTA may result in unsuccessful or unverified fee payment.

After the fee payment is completed, candidates should ensure that the Confirmation Page is generated. The generation of the Confirmation Page confirms the successful submission of the ICAR UG 2026 Application Form. If the Confirmation Page is not generated, it indicates that the application has not been submitted successfully, and candidates should verify the payment status and complete the application process before the deadline.

Important Points to Remember for ICAR UG 2026 Registration

Candidates applying for CUET (ICAR-UG) 2026 must carefully follow these important instructions while filling out the application form:

  1. Apply Online Only: Applications will be accepted only through the online mode. Offline applications will not be entertained.
  2. Provide Complete Postal Address: Enter your full postal address along with the correct PIN code for future communication.
  3. Use Your Own Email ID and Mobile Number: The email address and mobile number entered in the application form must belong to you, as they cannot be changed later. All official updates will be sent through email or SMS.
  4. Do Not Use Coaching Centre Contact Details: Candidates should not provide the postal address, mobile number, or email ID of any coaching institute in the application form.
  5. Submit the Form Through the Official Website: Complete the application process only through the official NTA website.
  6. Check Eligibility Before Submission: Ensure that you meet the eligibility criteria before submitting the application form. Candidates are not required to select Agricultural Universities during the application process. Admission and seat allotment will be carried out later through online counselling based on merit rank and eligibility.
  7. Application Cannot Be Withdrawn: Once the application form is submitted successfully, it cannot be withdrawn.
  8. Submit Only One Application Form: Candidates should submit only one application. Multiple applications may lead to cancellation of candidature.
  9. No Changes Through Offline Requests: NTA and ICAR will not accept requests for correction or modification through post, email, fax, or any offline mode. Candidates can make changes only during the official application correction window announced by NTA.

Note: NTA will provide a limited application correction window after the registration process. Candidates can edit only the fields permitted during the correction period.

  1. Examination Centre Allotment: The exam city selected during the application process is only a preference. The final examination centre and shift will be allotted by NTA, and the decision will be final. Requests for changes will not be considered.
  2. Provisional Admission: Qualifying the entrance examination does not guarantee admission. Selection will remain provisional until the candidate is verified to meet all eligibility criteria.
  3. Provide Correct Information: Candidates must ensure that all details entered in the application form are accurate. If any information is found to be false or misleading, legal action may be taken.
  4. No Need to Send the Confirmation Page: Candidates are not required to send the Confirmation Page to NTA or ICAR. However, they should keep the following documents safely for future reference and counselling:
  • Copy of the Confirmation Page
  • Proof of application fee payment
  • Recent passport-size photographs (same as uploaded in the application form)
  1. Name on Photo ID Must Match: The name on the government-issued photo ID must exactly match the name printed on the Admit Card. If the name has changed due to marriage, divorce, or any legal reason, candidates must carry valid supporting documents such as a Marriage Certificate, Divorce Decree, or Legal Name Change Certificate during the examination.
  2. Exam Rescheduling and Normalization: If an examination is rescheduled due to technical issues, natural disasters, or other unforeseen circumstances, NTA may apply the normalization process as per its official policy.
  3. Incorrect Information Can Lead to Cancellation: If a candidate is found at any stage to have provided false information, hidden important facts, or submitted misleading documents, their candidature, admission, or allotted seat may be cancelled immediately by NTA, ICAR, or the concerned university. Legal action may also be initiated where applicable.
