NTA Reduced CUET Duration To 2 Week, Important Update, Fewer Subjects, Offer More Universities Options
NTA Reduced CUET Duration : CUET UG Duration has been Reduced from one month to 2 weeks. NTA has also reduced the maximum number of subjects candidates can take from 10 to 5 or 6 in CUET UG 2024. More private universities are willing to participate in CUET UG 2024.

NTA Reduced CUET Duration 1 Month To 2 Week : NTA has decided to complete CUET UG 2024 exam within two weeks. Earlier, CUET UG 2023 exam was plagued by several technical glitches. The advisory committee comprises representatives from participating universities to deliberate on this.
NTA has also reduced the number of subjects candidates can take in CUET UG exam. Instead of choosing 10 subjects, candidates can now prepare for 5 to 6 essential subjects based on the program choice. The syllabus of language-based and domain-specific subjects is also expected to be based on the rationalized syllabus.Also Check : CUET UG Syllabus
The Director General of NTA has also committed to delivering the Cuet 2024 exam in around 15 days with larger shifts and better planning. NTA has received a number of participating colleges requests especially from private universities in CUET 2024 exam. Earlier, the number of participating universities has increased from 90 to 242 in CUET 2023 exam.Also Check : CUET UG Participating Universities
The founder president of Siksha O Anusandhan in Odisha, Mr. Manojranjan Nayak said his university will participate in CUET-UG 2024. "Siksha O Anusandhan, which admits students based on NEET, is mandatory, and JEE (Main) will also accept CUET from 2024. These are standard tests delivered centrally and therefore we hope to attract deserving students." According to Ananya Mukherjee, vice-chancellor, of Shiv Nadar, an Institution of Eminence, "We have started accepting CUET scores in the later part of admission from this year and I have to say that the quality of students has been impressive. The only issue was that CUET results came late." The Director General of NTA has also confirmed that the release date of CUET UG 2024 Result will be informed in advance i.e., at the time of registration. So that, the participating universities will be able to plan their admission cycle better.
