This scheme has a budget of Rs. 2254.43 crore and will run from 2024-25 to 2028-29. The Ministry of Home Affairs is in charge of this project, which aims to improve India’s forensic capabilities. The plan includes investing in better infrastructure and increasing the number of trained forensic professionals. This initiative will strengthen the forensic services in India, helping in solving crimes more effectively and ensuring better justice delivery.
