Educational Qualification

• Candidates must pass the 10+2 or Intermediate exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English with at least 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. 

• Alternatively, candidates can hold a Diploma, B.Pharma, or B.Sc in Pharmacy with a minimum of 50% marks alongside their intermediate science qualification.  

Age Limit

• For 10+2 Candidates: Applicants must be unmarried and born between July 1, 2006, and July 1, 2010 (both dates inclusive).  

• For Diploma / B.Pharma / B.Sc Pharmacy Candidates: Unmarried candidates must be born between July 1, 2003, and July 1, 2008. Married candidates must be born between July 1, 2003, and July 1, 2006.  Physical & Medical Standards

• Height: Minimum 152 cm.

• Chest: Minimum circumference of 77 cm with an expansion capacity of at least 5 cm.

• Hearing & Dental: Normal hearing (forced whisper from 5 meters away) and a minimum of 14 healthy dental points.

• Visual Standards: Visual acuity of 6/36 in each eye, correctable to 6/6 in each eye, with a refractive error not exceeding ±3.50D. History of LASIK or PRK is not accepted.

• Tattoos: Permanent body tattoos are generally forbidden, except for specified inner forearm locations or tribal customs subject to selection centre approval.

Airmen Group Y Medical Assistant Selection Process 2026 is divided into three distinct phases to test the knowledge and physical capabilities of candidates:

• Phase 1: Online Test:  Eligible candidates will take an objective-type online exam lasting 45 minutes based of class 12th level. 

•  Phase 2: Physical Fitness and Adaptability Tests. Shortlisted candidates will face a Physical Fitness Test (PFT) to complete running tests.

• Phase 3: Medical Examination. The final stage is a complete medical check-up by the Air Force Medical Team. This involves blood tests, urine tests, chest X-rays, and ECG tests to check overall fitness.

Air Force Airmen Group Y Medical Assistant Intake 02/2027 Salary depends on the training period and post-training pay scale structure. Candidates, after joining, get the perks included in the salary, which are the medical, dearness allowance, transport allowance, insurance, and medical facilities. 

• During Training:  ₹14,600 per month

•   After Training: ₹26,900 per month.

• Benefits: Airmen will also receive Dearness Allowance, Transport Allowance, House Rent Allowance, free medical facilities, clothing, rations, and a group insurance cover of ₹62.5 Lakhs.
