Army AFMS Selection Process 2025: Army AFMS Recruitment is organized to get qualified professionals hired for the 400 posts of Medical Officer (Short Service Commission). It’s an opportunity for candidates with an MBBS/MD degree and relevant internship experience to apply for the Army AFMS Medical Officer Recruitment 2025. Army AFMS Medical Officer Recruitment for the year 2025 started to fill 400 posts of Medical Officer, SSC. It is a Short Service Commission position of Medical Officer to be filled in AFMS. Candidates with an MBBS/MD degree and internship experience can apply. There is only an interview round conducted to recruit Medical Officers in AFMS. 

Army AFMS Medical Officer Interview 2025

Army AFMS Medical Officer is a Short Service Commission (SSC). Both male and female candidates are eligible to apply Medical Officer’s 400 posts. There is no written exam in the Army AFMS Selection Process. Candidates who are interested in applying for Medical Officer posts should fill out the application forms online by 12th May 2025. AFMS Medical Interview 2025 is scheduled to be on 19th June 2025. Shortlisted candidates for the interview can get an intimation on their registered email address and phone number. The interview venue is the Army Hospital (R&R) Delhi Cantt. 

Documents Required For AFMS Medical Officer Interview

Army AFMS authorities conduct the shortlisting procedure for candidates to invite them for the interview round. Candidates should note to bring a list of required documents for the interview round. Army AFMS may ask candidates to present the documents as part of the selection process. Keep all these documents and carry them with you in the interview round.

• NEET PG scorecard

• Attestation Form

• MBBS & PG degree certificates (if any)

• Internship completion certificate

• Medical Registration Certificate

• 10 passport-size photos

AFMS Medical Officer Physical & Medical Standards

Every candidate, after qualifying for the interview round needs to go for the medical examination. AFMS authorities will check the medical fitness of the candidates as per the standards. Candidates are declared FIT only after receiving the medical documents. However, any candidate is declared UNFIT by the Special Medical Board (SMB). In that case, the candidate can move to the Appeal Medical Board (AMB).
