CDS 1 2026 Exam Day Guidelines: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is the governing authority for the CDS 1 2026 exam. Candidates who have filled out the CDS application form 2026. What to Carry for CDS 1 2026 Exam?

• Admit Card: A printed copy of the e-Admit Card. Without it, entry will be denied.

• Photo Identity Proof: Original photo identity card (Aadhar Card, Voter ID, Passport, Driving License, or any other photo ID issued by the government) mentioned in the admit card.

• Two Passport Size Photographs: Identical to the one uploaded during the application process. These might be required for attendance sheets.

• Black Ball Point Pen: For marking answers on the OMR sheet.

• Clip Board: A plain, hard clipboard without any writing on it.

Prohibited Items in CDS 1 2026 Exam Hall

It is important for the candidates need to follow the guidelines regarding the prohibited items not to carry at the CDS 1 2026 exam hall.

• Mobile Phones and Electronic Gadgets: All electronic devices, including mobile phones, smartwatches, pagers, calculators, pen drives, etc., are strictly prohibited.

• Study Material: Any form of study material, notes, books, or loose papers.

• Bags and Wallets: These are generally not allowed inside the exam hall. Candidates might have to arrange for their safekeeping outside.

• Food Items: Eatables, both packaged and unpackaged.

• Ornaments and Accessories: Expensive ornaments, bracelets, and other similar accessories might be asked to be removed.

• Bluetooth Devices and Communication Devices: Any device that can facilitate unfair means.

UPSC CDS 1 2026 Reporting Time and Shift Details

Candidates must reach the exam centre on time as per the reporting time provided to the candidates on the exam day.  Latecomers will not be granted entry. The CDS reporting time and shift details will be clearly mentioned on the admit card.
