Educational Qualification is one of the important factors of the CRPF ASI Eligibility Criteria 2024. Candidates should have specific qualifications to be eligible for ASI Steno posts. They should have passed the Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent Test from a board or university recognised by the Central or State Government on or before the last date of submitting the application form. Note:- A two or three-year Diploma Certificate in technical education after completing the 10th class is not equivalent to intermediate (10+2) as per CRPF ASI Eligibility Criteria 2024.
- Candidates who do not possess the essential educational qualification as of the prescribed date are not eligible to apply.
CRPF ASI Nationality
After knowing the CRPF ASI eligibility criteria 2024 and age limit, candidates should have nationality when applying for the Assistant Sub Inspector (Steno) post. A candidate must be either:- A citizen of India, or
- A subject of Nepal, or
- A subject of Bhutan, or
- A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st of January 1962, to permanently settle in India, or
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam, intending to settle in India permanently.

CRPF ASI Eligibility Criteria 2024 Important Points
Candidates should keep in mind certain points related to the CRPF ASI eligibility criteria 2024 as listed below for the reference of the candidates.- Reservation for Scheduled Castes (SCl/Scheduled Tribes Backward Classes (OBC) / Economically Weaker Sections servicemen, etc.) are as per Central Government Orders.
- Candidates should submit the date of birth in the online application form mentioned in the Matriculation/Secondary Exam. The CRPF will approve the certificate for ascertaining the CRPF ASI age limit 2024, and no subsequent request for changes will be entertained.
- Candidates who wish to apply against reserved vacancies or seek age relaxation should submit the required certificate from the competent authority in the prescribed format.
- The minimum distant vision should be 6/6 in one eye and 6/9 in the other eye without correction i.e. without wearing of glasses or lenses.
- Candidate must not have knock knee, flat foot, squint in eyes or varicose vein, and must have high colour vision.
- They should be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical disformity likely to interfere with the efficient performance of their duties.
- Applications with blurred photographs and/ or signatures will be cancelled.
- Relaxation in the respective category will only apply to those cases where vacancies are available in the respective category for the applied post.
