In the course of 'Exercise KAZIND-2023,' both parties partake in Counter-Terrorism operations under a sub-conventional environment authorized by the United Nations. This exercise consists of collaborative drills in different tactical strategies, such as Raids, Search and Destroy Operations, Small Team Insertion and Extraction Operations, and Counter Unmanned Aerial System Operations.
The exercise has evolved significantly since its inception as ‘Exercise PRABAL DOSTYK’ in 2016. Over the years, it has grown from a company-level exercise to 'Exercise KAZIND,' and finally, it has been upgraded into a Bi-service Exercise by integrating the Air Force component, indicating the deepened cooperation between the two nations.
