This is a session on the PIQ (Personal Information Queries) form of the applicants who have successfully cleared written tests like NDA, CDS or AFCAT and are called to SSB to become officers in the Indian Army, Indian Navy or Indian Air Force. As a candidate goes into the SSB, the PIQ form is filled out. The PIQ form description includes the definition of the PIQ form, its completion, and the dos and dos. The form collects data on the educational background of a candidate (10th, 12th standard, and courses), hobbies, activities, extracurriculars, past SSB appearances and the family background of the candidate.
The Personal Information Queries (PIQ) form is a critical document for candidates appearing for the Services Selection Board (SSB). It offers a comprehensive overview of a candidate's background and personality.
The PIQ form stands for Personal Information Queries. It functions as a character certificate, reflecting a candidate's entire record and life story. This form provides assessors (psychologists, interview officers, etc.) with insights into the candidate's personality and character.
The PIQ form is filled during the screening-in period at the SSB. One PIQ form is filled from you after you are screened in. Therefore, there are two instances of filling the PIQ form: one before and one after screening in.
It is crucial to fill the PIQ form very authentically. Candidates must mention only what they actually are in reality and avoid writing anything different or false. Many times, students try to make the PIQ form attractive by writing things that are not reflected in their ground-level assessment, interviews, or psychological tests. Giving false information can lead to being caught, as the PIQ form matches many aspects of a candidate's psychology.
Adhering to specific guidelines ensures the PIQ form is completed accurately and effectively. These instructions help candidates present their information clearly to the assessors.
Try to fill all details in capital letters.
Ensure neat and clean handwriting.
Be real and write only what is true about themselves.
Avoid providing false information.
The Personal Information Questionnaire (PIQ) form requires candidates to furnish a comprehensive range of personal and background information. This data helps assessors gain a holistic understanding of the individual's profile.
