Candidates applying through the Army NCC Entry 2026 must satisfy the following eligibility conditions.
Applicants must be:
A citizen of India, or
A subject of Nepal, or
A person of Indian origin migrated from specified countries with eligibility certificate (where applicable).
Candidates should be:
19 to 25 years as on 01 January 2027
Born between 02 January 2002 and 01 January 2008 (both dates inclusive).
Candidates should possess:
Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university.
Final-year students are also eligible, provided they complete the degree before commencement of the course.
Graduation is mandatory before joining the course.
Applicants must have:
NCC Senior Division/Wing service for at least 2 or 3 years (as applicable).
NCC 'C' Certificate with minimum 'B' Grade.
Candidates possessing only provisional NCC 'C' Certificate must obtain the final certificate before SSB.
Wards of Battle Casualties are exempted from the NCC 'C' Certificate requirement.
Candidates joining OTA should meet the following minimum standards:

There is no written examination under the NCC Special Entry Notification 2026.
After successful commissioning, candidates will be granted the rank of Lieutenant.
