Army NCC Entry 2026 Eligibility

Candidates applying through the Army NCC Entry 2026 must satisfy the following eligibility conditions.

Nationality

Applicants must be:

  • A citizen of India, or

  • A subject of Nepal, or

  • A person of Indian origin migrated from specified countries with eligibility certificate (where applicable).

Age Limit

Candidates should be:

  • 19 to 25 years as on 01 January 2027

  • Born between 02 January 2002 and 01 January 2008 (both dates inclusive).

Educational Qualification

Candidates should possess:

  • Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university.

  • Final-year students are also eligible, provided they complete the degree before commencement of the course.

  • Graduation is mandatory before joining the course.

NCC Qualification

Applicants must have:

  • NCC Senior Division/Wing service for at least 2 or 3 years (as applicable).

  • NCC 'C' Certificate with minimum 'B' Grade.

  • Candidates possessing only provisional NCC 'C' Certificate must obtain the final certificate before SSB.

  • Wards of Battle Casualties are exempted from the NCC 'C' Certificate requirement.

Candidates joining OTA should meet the following minimum standards:

Salary After Commission
