NIFT 2024 Counseling Document Verification Ends Today: The first round of seat allotment for NIFT 2024 is scheduled to be announced on June 21, 2024. The allotment will be determined by the candidate's merit rank and the preferences indicated during choice filling. It's important to note that choice filling and locking were open from June 5 to June 19. However, the document verification process will conclude at 6 pm today.

NIFT Counselling Process 2024
Candidates must complete the following steps for NIFT counseling 2024: Step 1: Register, pay the non-refundable registration fee of INR 9,300, and lock choices of academic programs and campuses by logging into the NIFT 2024 admission portal. Step 2: Log in to the admission portal to upload required documents. Step 3: Pay the seat acceptance fee of INR 1,83,200 online through the Admission Portal upon seat allocation. NIFT 2024 Seat Withdrawal Procedure and Important Details
If a candidate has accepted a seat allocated by NIFT:- Seat withdrawal can be initiated online starting from the 2nd round.
- Seats can only be withdrawn up to the penultimate round.
- Candidates who withdraw their seats will not be eligible for seat allotment in subsequent rounds.
- Once seat allotment results are announced for the last round of counselling, withdrawal of the allotted seat will not be possible.
Step-by-Step Process to Withdraw NIFT 2024 Seat
To proceed with the withdrawal option, the candidate must follow these TWO steps:- Confirm on the NIFT portal: Log in to the portal and confirm withdrawal from the seat allocation process. Upon confirmation, the allotted seat will be cancelled, and the candidate will no longer be considered for further seat allotments.
- Refund of seat acceptance fee: The refund amount will be processed as per the table provided above.
