Candidates should note key NIFT 2026 Important Dates. The online registration started on December 08, 2025. The last date for online registration without a late fee is January 13, 2026. Registration with a late fee of ₹5000 will open from January 14 to January 16, 2026. The application form correction window will be live from January 18 to January 19, 2026.

Candidates must meet the essential eligibility criteria set by the conducting authority to appear for the examination. Those failing to satisfy the requirements will not be considered for the test:
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed or be appearing in 10+2 examination from a recognized board. For PG, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
Age Limit: Candidates must be less than 24 years old as on 1 August 2026. No age limit for any postgraduate programme.
The NIFT 2026 registration process is conducted online by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to UG and PG programmes offered by NIFT. Eligible candidates must complete the NIFT 2026 application form on the official NIFTEE portal within the prescribed dates, upload required documents, and pay the application fee to successfully register.

New Candidate Registration
Click on “New Registration”.
Enter basic details such as name, date of birth, email ID, and mobile number
Generate login credentials.
Login to Application Portal
Use the generated application number and password to log in.

The NIFT 2026 Admit Card will be released by NTA few days prior to the examination. Candidates must download their NIFT 2026 Admit Card from the NTA website. It will not be sent by post. The admit card is provisional and subject to eligibility conditions.
On exam day, carry a printout of the admit card, two passport-size photographs, and an original valid photo ID. Prohibited items include mobile phones, calculators, and any other electronic gadgets. Reach the exam centre at least 60 minutes before the exam starts. No entry is allowed 30 minutes before the exam begins.
