- Click on the NIFT application tab.
- Enter your Aadhar Number in the registration form.
- After the Aadhar verification, enter your parent's name, email address, and mobile number in the tab that opens.
- An acknowledgment is sent to the email address.
- The details provided at the time of registration will not be modified later.
- The mobile number and email address shared at the time of registration can be used for future correspondence regarding the online application, admit card, etc till the admission process is over.
Filling Out Details
- Log in to the NIFT portal to complete the application form.
- Fill out your personal details such as the name of your parents, gender, nationality, domicile, etc.
- Enter the details of your academics.
- Select a test center from the drop-down menu.
Documents Upload
- After filling out your personal details, upload the scanned copies of your signature and photograph in the NIFT application form.
- The photograph and signature must be uploaded in the specified format and size as stated by the NIFT in its official notification.
- Submit the application form after uploading the documents.
Payment of the Application Fee

NIFT Seat Intake and Admission Process 2025
The NIFT offers a total of 5289 seats in the B.Des, M.Des, B.F.Tech, M.F.Tech, and M.F.M courses, across all-India, state-domicile, and NRI seats. The admission will be based on the marks obtained in the NIFT 2025 exam. For admission in B.Des and M.Des, candidates have to appear in both CAT and GAT written exams, while for the B.F.Tech, M.F.Tech, and M.F.M candidates only need to take the GAT written test. The shortlisted candidates have to appear for the Situation Test (B.Des) / Personal Interview. The final merit list for admission will be prepared based on the GAT, CAT, and the Situation Test/ Personal Interview.
