B.Des Situation Test

For Bachelor of Design candidates, the Situation Test is a hands-on exam. Students are provided with a specific set of materials—such as cardboard, wire, fabric, and thermocol—to build a 3D model based on a provided theme. You are evaluated on:

  • Material Handling: How innovatively you use the provided items.

  • Aesthetic Appeal: The visual composition of the model.

  • Write-up: A brief explanation (in English) explaining the concept behind your creation.

Master’s Programs (M.Des, M.F.M, M.F.Tech)

For PG courses, Stage 2 consists of a Personal Interview (PI). This session assesses your domain knowledge, career goals, and aptitude for the fashion industry. M.Des candidates are often expected to present a portfolio during this round.
