NIFT 2024 Situation Test Syllabus

B.Des candidates will advance to a Situation Test based on their performance in the written exams (CAT and GAT) of NIFT 2024. Here are the key aspects of the NIFT 2024 Situation Test:

The Situation Test is a practical assessment focusing on evaluating the candidate’s proficiency in material handling and innovative abilities within a given scenario, using provided materials.
Candidates are required to create a model or design utilizing the materials provided.
Usage of any materials other than those provided within the exam venue is strictly prohibited.
Space visualization, inventive and imaginative use of the provided materials, element composition, color scheme, building expertise, model elegance, and overall presentation are just a few of the characteristics that will be considered while evaluating the model. Candidates must also include a written explanation of the concept behind their model with it; this explanation must be in English. Articles written in any other language will not be graded.
Candidates are instructed not to reveal their identity in any manner, as any attempt to do so may result in disqualification.
The Situation Test will be assessed on the spot, and it's important to note that the model will not be retained for future reference.
Candidates shortlisted for Masters Programs from the written entrance examination must participate in Case Study-based Group Discussions (GD) and a Personal Interview (PI).
