UCEED Exam Dates 2025: UCEED Round III seat allotment has concluded. The window for the seat payment for the BDes program opened from 10 to 14 June 2025. The authorities have released the results of the 3rd round of seat allotment on the official website at uceed.iitb.ac. Candidates who wish to withdraw from their seats or exit from the counselling process can do so from 15 June to 19 June 2025, by 6:00 PM.
UCEED seat allotment will take place in 5 rounds, starting from 21 April till 3 July 2025. IIT Bombay conducts the undergraduate common entrance exam for design (UCEED). The exam is conducted annually for admission to B.Des programs provided by prestigious IITs such as Guwahati, Bombay, IITDM Jabalpur, and Hyderabad. The exam was conducted on 19 January 2025.

What is UCEED?
UCEED stands for Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design (UCEED). Indian Institute of Technology Bombay conducts the UCEED entrance exam every year for admission to B.Des program at prestigious IIT campuses such as Guwahati, Hyderabad, Bombay, and IITDM Jabalpur. Candidates have to appear for the UCEED 2025 exam and obtain valid results to get admission to undergraduate design programs.UCEED 2025 Eligibility Criteria
The UCEED 2025 Eligibility Criteria includes minimum requirements such as age limit, educational qualification, nationality, and job experience, essential to appear for the exam. The UCEED eligibility criteria are the parameters that check a candidate's suitability for the entrance exam. | Age Limit | Candidates belonging to OPEN/EWS/OBC-NCL categories, must be born on or after 1st October 2000. While candidates of SC/ST/PwD categories must have been born on or after 1st October 1995. |
| Qualifying Exam | Candidates must have passed in all subjects in their class 12th or equivalent exams in 2024 OR should be appearing for the examination for the first time in 2025 under UCEED exam eligibility. Students from ALL Streams such as Arts, Commerce, Science, and Humanities are also eligible for the UCEED exam. Students who have appeared for the first time in their class 12th examination in 2023 or earlier are not eligible to appear for the UCEED entrance exam. |

UCEED Exam Dates 2025
The UCEED 2025 exam was conducted on 19th January 2025. Based on the scores obtained in the UCEED entrance exam 2025, admission to UCEED participating colleges in B.Des programs will be provided. The UCEED 2025 entrance exam consists of two parts, namely Part A and Part B. Part A will be a computer-based exam, including NAT, MCQ, and MSQ-type questions. The test will last for 1 hour. Part B will have two subjective-type questions and will last for 2 hours. It must be noted that Part B booklet will only be evaluated when the candidates have cleared the Part A test. Part A cut-off marks will be out before or at the time of the UCEED 2025 result declaration.UCEED Result Date 2025
The UCEED result 2025 has been officially announced on March 7, 2025, by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay. Candidates who participated in the exam held on January 19, 2025, can now check their results on the official website, uceed.iitb.ac.in. Scorecards will be available for download starting March 10, 2025, and will remain accessible until June 11, 2025. The results include important details such as the candidate's name, roll number, qualification status, and overall rank. Candidates are advised to log in using their registered email ID and password to view their results. The result will include Part A marks, and for qualified candidates, Part B marks, total score, and merit rank.
UCEED Counseling and Seat Allotment 2025
UCEED 2025 counseling and seat allotment for B.Des admissions will be conducted in five rounds. The registration began from 14 March to 3 April 2025. The seat allotment rounds are scheduled for 21 April, 19 May, 10 June, 24 June, and 3 July 2025, with each round followed by a window for payment of seat acceptance fees and withdrawal options. Note that the seat allotment will be based on the UCEED 2025 merit rank of the candidate and the institute opted for at the time of admission (and their order of priority).
