UCEED 2027 exam will take place on January 17, 2027. The test takes place on Sunday morning. The timing of the paper is from 09:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The total duration of the test is three hours. The examination will happen across thirty designated cities in India. Candidates must arrive at the test center early for biometric verification. Entry into the test hall closes strictly at 09:00 AM.
Candidates must fill out the online application form to participate in the examination. The form is available on the official website from October 1 to October 21, 2026. Applicants need to create a login ID and password first. Next, they must enter their personal details, educational details, and test city choices. They also need to upload scanned copies of their photograph, signature, age proof, and category certificates.
UCEED 2027 Application Fee varies according to category and nationality.
Female Candidates (All Categories): ₹2,000
SC, ST, and PwD Candidates: ₹2,000
All Other Candidates: ₹4,000
Foreign Candidates from SAARC Countries: US $200
Foreign Candidates from Non-SAARC Countries: US $250
Candidates who register after October 31, 2026 must pay a late fee of ₹500. Foreign candidates paying late must pay an additional fee of US $50.

To appear for the UCEED 2027 exam, candidates must fulfill three main rules at the same time.
Age Limit: OPEN, EWS, and OBC-NCL candidates must be born on or after October 1, 2002. SC, ST, and PwD candidates must be born on or after October 1, 1997.
Number of Attempts: A candidate can attempt the exam a maximum of two times in consecutive years.
Qualifying Examination: The candidate must pass Class 12 or equivalent in 2026 or appear for it in 2027. Students from all streams like Science, Commerce, and Arts are eligible to take the test.

Part-A Syllabus:

Drawing: Ability to draw products, people, or scenes with proportion, perspective, and shading.
Design Aptitude: Responding to practical design problems with creative ideas.
UCEED 2027 exam is for 3 hours and carries a total of 300 marks.
Part-A (Computer Based Test): Duration is 2 hours with 200 marks.
Section 1 (NAT): 14 questions, 4 marks each, no negative marking.
Section 2 (MSQ): 15 questions, partial marking scheme, -1 for wrong options.
Section 3 (MCQ): 28 questions, 3 marks each, -0.71 for wrong answers.
Part-B (Pen and Paper Test): Duration is 1 hour with 100 marks.
Question 1 tests sketching skills for 50 marks.
Question 2 tests design aptitude for 50 marks.
