MHTCET COUNSELLING-
MHT CET 2019 Counselling will be conducted by The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra in the month of June. All the eligible candidates must register online mode to attend the MHT CET counselling session. Candidates applying for Institutional Quota Seats and Supernumerary Seats (for OCI/PIO/foreign students & children of Indian workers in Gulf countries) have to apply directly to the DTE Maharshtra and concerned institution.
- Only 15% All India Quota seats will be filled through JEE Main.
- Rest of the 85% seats will be filled through MHT CET 2019
- The documents & MHT CET Eligibility of the selected candidates will be checked by the conducting authority.
- After the verification of documents & eligibility, the authority will invite the applications for admission.
- During Choice-Filling, enter colleges & courses in the decreasing order according to the preference.
MHT CET Counselling will be conducted through a Centralised Counselling Process (CAP). Through CAP following seats are filled:
- Maharashtra State Candidature Seats,
- All India Candidature Seats,
- Minority Quota Seats and
- Supernumerary Seats for Jammu and Kashmir Migrant Candidature

Registration Procedure for MHT CET Counselling
MHT CET Counselling Registrations have to be done by the candidates. The steps for the registration are mentioned below:

Step 1 - Registration
- Click on “New Registration”
- On the next page, the selection of nationality has to be done by the candidates.
- Next, they have to submit their personal, contact and security details on the registration form.

Selection of Password
A password has to be created after submitting the required details. The listed policies have to be correctly followed while creating the password:
- The password must be 8 to 13 characters long
- The password must have atleast one upper and lower case alphabet.
- Atleast one numeric value must be present in the password.
The password must contain at least one special character i.e
Step 2 - Selection of Details on Types of Candidature
While registration, the candidates will have to select their type of candidature according to their category. The selection has to be done from the following categories by the candidates as per their eligibility:
- Maharashtra State Candidature (Type A/B/C/D/E)
- OMS
- J&K Migrant Applicant
- Foreign Students
- NRI
- PIO/OCI
- CIWGC
- GoI
Step 3 - Enter Qualification and Examination Details
Submit class 10th and 12th standard subject wise and overall marks along with the name of the school board. Also, enter all the information related to MHT CET 2019.
Step 4 - Uploading of Scanned Images
Next, submit the scanned photograph and signature according to the specifications mentioned in the table given below:

Step 5 – Payment of Counselling Fees
After submitting all of the required information and scanned images, the candidates will have to pay the counselling fees. The payment of the counselling fees has to be done in online mode.
