Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government including Integrated Dual Degree (IDD). Candidates possessing qualifications such as Medical, Engineering, Chartered Accountant, and Cost Accountant would also be eligible.Age Limit
The prescribed age limit as per the CBI ZBO Recruitment 2025 for Zonal Based Officers is not less than 21 years and not more than 32 years as of 30th November 2024 i.e. candidates must have been born not later than 30.11.2003 and not earlier than 01.12.1992 (both days inclusive). Age relaxation will also be provided to the reserved categories.Nationality

- A subject of Nepal or Bhutan, or
- A Tibetan refugee who arrived in India before 1st January 1962 intending to settle permanently, or

Work Experience
Candidates must have experience in Scheduled Commercial Banks (SCBs)/ Scheduled Cooperative Banks (Urban & State)/Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFCs) having minimum asset size of at least Rs.500.00 crores operating in India- For Officer/Supervisory cadre – 1 year experience
- For Clerical Cadre – 3 years experience
- Candidates from the Insurance sector, Co-operative Societies, or Government Financial Institutions (either regular or part-time) are not eligible.
CBI Zonal Bank Officer Recruitment 2025 Selection Process
The choice of candidates for Zonal Based Officer positions is determined by a Written Examination and Interviews. Candidates who qualify in the written exam, a total of four times the number of zone-wise and Category-wise vacancies, will be invited for an interview. The weightage assigned to the Online Test and interview will be 80:20 respectively. The minimum passing mark for an online exam will be 50% for the General Category, while for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD categories, the minimum mark is set at 45%.- Written Exam
