The IBPS RRB PO Notification 2025 syllabus covers both the Prelims and Mains exams, each with distinct subjects and topics. The Prelims exam consists of 80 questions (40 from each section) to be completed in 45 minutes with negative marking of 0.25 marks for wrong answers.
In the Prelims Examination there are s sections: Reasoning and Numerical Ability. Reasoning Ability includes Blood Relation, Syllogism, Order and Ranking, Coding-Decoding, Puzzles, Seating Arrangements, etc. Quantitative Aptitude covers Number Series, Data Interpretation, Quadratic Equations, Simplification and Approximation, Basic Calculation, Speed Time & Distance, etc.
In Mains Examination, there are 5 sections, carrying a total of 200 marks with sectional timing for each section, with a total duration of 2 hours. Candidates can choose between English and Hindi for the language section. Negative marking of 0.25 applied to each incorrect responses.

The IBPS RRB PO Cut Off 2025 will be released after the completion of all exam stages—prelims, mains, and interview. Candidates must clear both the sectional and overall cut off at each stage to progress further. Marks obtained in the mains and interview taken in the 80:20 ratio, are considered for formulating Final Cut Off marks. The cut off varies state-wise and depends on factors such as the number of vacancies, exam difficulty, and candidate performance from each state.
