Subject And State Wise Number Of Applicants

Subject And State Wise Number Of Applicants : NTA has closed CUET UG 2024 Registration process on April 5, 2024. The registration or application process was declared open by NTA on February 27, 2024. The correction window was open till April 8, 2024. After the application process closed, NTA released the analyzed data of the applicants and applications received compared to the previous two editions. The exam is scheduled to be conducted from May 16 to 31, 2024.

This year, the number of candidates registered for CUET UG 2024 exam has dropped by 1.5 lakhs, but the number of tests opted for has more than doubled from 28 lakhs in 2023 to 57.6 lakhs in 2024.

NTA expectation indicates a more intensified competition in CUET 2024. This year, students were allowed to apply for a maximum of 6 subjects and the application trends show that the number of subjects per applicant rose to 4.3 from the previous year’s 2.3.

Subject-Wise Number of Applications in CUET UG 2024

CUET 2024 will have 75% students for the English exam and 62% students for the general test exam. The popular domains in Science and language papers have recorded a new high for the subject-wise application trends.
